rebeem is an independent non-commercial project for live streams, games, creativity and conversation. Participation is for ages 13 and over. Respect other people and follow these rules throughout the platform.
Scope
These rules cover live streams, transmitted recordings, clips, chat, names, channel titles, avatars, covers, descriptions, links, emotes and other content. VOD is not currently offered. Redirecting users to prohibited offsite material, coded references and other evasion are forbidden. Platform rules supplement the law; they do not replace it.
Political content is prohibited
rebeem is for creativity, games and conversation, not political debate. Political discussions, campaigning, propaganda, party/movement promotion, discussion of political figures, elections and political conflicts, slogans, campaign-context symbols, political memes, political-event streams and intentional political references are prohibited, including disguised campaigning and evasion.
Necessary information in nonpublic support requests, reports, appeals, legal notices or mandatory disclosures, and information the law requires us to permit, is excepted. Provide only necessary context; this is not permission for public campaigning. Incidental appearances are evaluated in context and in light of the creator’s response, not automatically treated as intentional propaganda.
Sexual content and child safety
Pornography, sexual acts or sexual nudity, erotic streams, sexualised images/animation, pornography display, sexual services/advertising, pornography links, sexual roleplay, harassment and exploitation are prohibited. Sexual suggestions and provocative avatars/emotes are prohibited when intended for arousal, solicitation or harassment. An 18+ label does not permit them.
Any child sexual exploitation, grooming or attempted trading of such material is strictly prohibited. Immediate access restriction and legally required action take priority. Do not download, forward or attach prohibited images: report a safe URL/ID and context. Medical or educational context is not blanket permission to display sexual material.
Violence and self-harm
Real extreme violence, torture, abuse of people/animals, threats, incitement, glorification of real violent crimes, shock content and promotion of self-harm are prohibited. Help-seeking and sensitive recovery discussions without methods or encouragement are allowed. Ordinary fictional game violence differs from real violence; actual presentation and audience safety matter. A game rating does not override restrictions on sexual or otherwise prohibited scenes.
Extremism and hate
Terrorist propaganda, recruitment, justification of terrorist violence, extremist-organisation promotion and propaganda symbols are prohibited. Hate, dehumanisation and threats based on race, ethnicity, nationality, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, disability or other legally protected characteristics are prohibited. Game roles or humour are not excuses to target real groups.
Harassment and personal information
Targeted harassment, stalking, threats, doxxing, disclosure of others’ addresses/phone numbers without lawful grounds, confidential information leaks, blackmail, deceptive impersonation and organised chat raids are prohibited. Availability elsewhere does not justify harmful redistribution. Do not weaponise reports against others.
Fraud and dangerous links
Phishing, financial fraud, malware, deceptive giveaways, sale of stolen accounts, illegal trade, scam promotion, credential theft and dangerous links are forbidden. Do not request passwords, stream keys or 2FA codes while impersonating staff. Giveaways must be lawful and describe their conditions transparently.
Spam and infrastructure
Spam, flooding, engagement bots, artificial views/follows, abusive reports, ban evasion, harmful exploitation and infrastructure attacks are prohibited. Security testing requires prior explicit authorisation and an agreed scope. Good-faith vulnerability reports should not include others’ secrets or unnecessary personal data.
Rights in material
Unlawful restreams, pirated films/series, others’ recordings and unauthorised paid-content distribution are prohibited. Licences and lawful exceptions are assessed on their merits. Rights holders and users can use the report menu or email rebeem@proton.me; a report alone is not proof of infringement.
Restricted goods, gambling and dangerous acts
Illegal drugs/trade, unlawful weapons, stolen data, organising crimes, illegal-service advertising and dangerous acts encouraging imitation are prohibited. Real-money gambling, its advertising, links/referral codes and viewer betting are forbidden. Do not advertise sales of alcohol, nicotine, vapes or other age-restricted goods, show minors consuming them, encourage use or stage consumption contests. Incidental lawful adult possession is assessed in context without overriding promotion and child-safety restrictions.
Proportionality
We consider severity, repetition, context, reasonably established intent and risk. A minor mistake does not automatically mean permanent suspension. Policy measures include warning, content/message removal, chat timeout, streaming suspension and temporary/permanent account restrictions. Not every measure has a dedicated current control: implemented tools include chat timeouts/bans, account bans, channel suspension, stream stopping and supported content removal. Durations are shown when set; absence of an end date is disclosed.
Urgent cases
Child sexual exploitation, serious credible threats and other immediate risks can require restriction before a full review. Necessary evidence preservation, restricted access and competent-authority cooperation follow applicable requirements. Do not forward prohibited material into a report; provide a safe reference.
Notice and reasons
Decisions should identify the reason, relevant rule, measure, duration where set and appeal route, subject to lawful disclosure restrictions. Restrictions and history are at /appeals; punishment notifications link there. Automated rate limits and technical filtering do not replace human review of disputed decisions. Request missing detail at rebeem@proton.me.
How to appeal
At /appeals choose a restriction, explain the error and provide safe context. Review includes history, clarifications and a response; another available moderator reviews subject to API conflict-of-interest checks. An accepted appeal can transactionally lift a restriction. For closed cases, missing controls or repeat review, email rebeem@proton.me; a form limit does not remove mandatory complaint rights.
Reports and appeals differ
A report flags content through its menu or /reports. An appeal disputes a restriction at /appeals; report decisions have separate appeals at /reports. Rights-holder notices without an account can be emailed. Provide enough detail to locate and assess content without unnecessary personal data. Report counts do not automatically establish illegality.
